Video Interviewing is coming this june – The world leader Spark Hire

I’ve got some very exciting news to share with you, our end-to-end Recruitment Software MyRecruitment+ will have video interviewing by the end of June.

This June, we will be releasing a full Video Interviewing offering, by partnering with Sparkhire, the Global Leader in video interviewing.

Gain more insight and knowledge about the candidates you’re thinking of hiring, in a fraction of the time that a phone interview would take.

Develop interview templates consisting of text or video-based questions for your candidates to answer on their own time via webcam or the Spark Hire mobile app. Build a digital library of video interviews for you to review, on-demand.

We began thinking about adding video interviewing into MyRecruitmentPlus, back in 2006. At the time there wasn’t many players on the market that had a solid and enterprise-grade offering. So we did some R&D on what it would take to develop such module ourselves. Back then however our system didn’t do an end-to-end Recruitment… and it certainly didn’t do Onboarding either.

So we decided that we would focus on achieving our “Recruitment & Onboarding” software goal first before we take on such a project.

About a year ago however we came across Spark Hire and I subsequently had a good conversation with the CEO over there Josh Tolan – a great guy – we got along like a house on fire and we as a business very quickly realised that it doesn’t make any sense whatsoever to create such a module ourselves if a great product like Spark Hire can a) be integrated seamlessly in our system and b) the company behind it and its management have the correct partnership-based focus. And sure enough that was the case with Spark Hire – we loved the product and we love what management did in terms of their focus on working with and partnering with ATS suppliers like us.

Trials that start from next week, will include a sneak peek at this feature.
